pH Drop™ is a strong acidic solution formulated to reduce the pH level in water or fertilizer solution. For all the components of a nutrient mixture to be available for the plant to assimilate, the pH level needs to be in the optimum range of 5.0 to 6.5. Some fertilizers reduce pH while others increase it. Adding a small amount of pH Drop™ to water or a fertilizer solution helps reduce the pH level to the target range of 5.0 to 6.5.

Application Rates

Directions For Use: pH Drop™ is designed to reduce the level of pH in water or a fertilizer solution. To keep pH in the optimal range, use each time you apply your nutrients.

Application Rates: General Directions: Add a small amount of pH Drop™ to fertilizer water and take a test reading with pH paper or a pH meter before adding any more. Add pH Drop™ before adding fertilizer materials to the water.

To Reduce pH: Mix a few drops 1/3 tsp (2-3 ml) per quart (1 L). Add 1 oz (30 ml) per 5 gallons (20 L). Add 5 oz (150 ml) per 25 gallons (100 L).

Caution

Use rubber or nitrile gloves and eye protection when handling this product. It contains phosphoric acid and is extremely corrosive. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. If splashed in eyes or on skin, flush thoroughly with water for 15 minutes. If swallowed, administer 1 to 4 glasses of milk or water and seek immediate medical attention. Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, open cuts, or sores. Keep out of the reach of children. Wash hands after use.
